C6 vs Z51 C6 What To Expect?
Hi folks
It's been a while since I (stupidly) let my 2007 C6 Z51 go and after a lengthy spell here in the USA, I have decided I will be looking to buy a C7 Grand Sport in the next year or so to bring over to England.
In the mean time though, I am looking at picking up a 2005 C6 in the UK to tied me over.
Has anyone here had both the 2005 and 2007 C6 and could anyone tell me the main differences to expect?
Paddle shift or lack thereof would be one, handling won't be as sharp etc, but what other changes took place between 2005 and 2007?
Thanks in advance.

Safety Car
this
the 4L65E in the 05 cars is the strongest auto transmission ever installed in any year of the C6's.Obviously if you want to play with paddle shifters you will not have that option.they don't drive any differently than any other C6.2 weeks ago I went 10.10 with a 1.39 60ft.seems to drive quite well to me!!!
