2013 F55 Magnetic Selective Ride Control
Is F55 Magnetic Selective Ride Control included in the 2013 Grand Sport 3LT package or is it an additional option? I'm looking at a car online that says it has F55 Magnetic Selective Ride Control but it's not listed on the invoice.

427 Convertibles all had F55 Magnetic Selective Ride, but the Corvette Black Book says that option was an extra $1695 on the GS.

I have a 2011GS 3LT with Mag. Ride and it was an option as well as NPP .

2013 Order guide shows it as an Available option for both GS coupe and convertible across all 4 LT packages.
Not sure if the link is allowed. See page 25. This is handy to use in conjunction with the RPO codes listed on the glove box sticker if yours is still there (If a previous owner had the glove box lid replaced under warranty, you may no longer have it).

I always wanted a car with mag ride, but now that I have one, I'm not all that impressed. If I had to buy another one, I would not pay extra for mag ride. I liked the ride and handling of my '06 Z51 convertible just fine.

That's good to know. If I'm not planning to track the car maybe it shouldn't be a deal breaker.

Burning Brakes
On the Mag ride from what I read, it cost a lot to replace one shock. I don't know the exact cost but from what I've read here over time once it's time to replace one or two of them most people go to regular shocks because the mag ride shocks cost a lot. Does anyone know how much it cost to replace one of them??? Maybe that can help the OP out.

The last I heard it's about two grand for a set of new Magnetic ride shocks.

I appreciate all the conversation about the F55 and cost of replacing the shocks. I've learned quite a bit. First thing I learned was not to believe what you read in online ads. I'm not sure I have to have the F55 but it certainly effects the price.

I've had it in my last 3 Corvettes. I think it's well worth it. And have never had an issue with it. GM did a video of how it works, and shows one with and one without going over bumps in the road. Keeps the wheels on the ground. For rough roads with really poor surface (potholes and whatnot), I think it does far less damage potential to suspension. Love mine!
Scrub the video to 1:25 to see the cars going over bumps.

I believe it was an option on the 13 GS. Cost is higher to replace them if they fail but they generally don't fail. By 50-70k miles you will notice regular shocks need to be replaced and they won't all go bad at once.

I don't know what you are referring to as an "invoice", but few sellers would list that option on an "invoice".

I guess invoice is the wrong term. It's like an original order sheet that show the options. It doesn't list the F55 or C2L. Yet, on the dealer's website it lists options and additional equipment and lists both of them. I found the answer to my original question. The fact is F55 does not come as part of any trim level for the base or Grand Sport and must be ordered. I'm shopping for my first Vette and am learning the hard way. I've gotten a lot of good information from this site. Thanks for all the replies and info from everyone.

I purchased my 2013 GS last month. I was specifically looking for a car with the F55. Yes, it was a separate option on the GS, not part of a package.
While looking at the ads, I'd always go to an interior shot picture to look for the **** on the center console as mentioned above. Don't confuse it with the traction control switch that's also located on the consol. It's much smaller and closer to the driver than the F55.
Hope that helps
