Right on man!

Now you must give us a run down of your set-up:

Gears, LT's, Cats, no Cats, X-pipe, A6, Stall Converter, RR's, Mufflers, TB, Manifold, Cam, Tires (for the run) etc.

Many will want to follow your path

Thank you for sharing.

Thanks,Matt

My first trip to the track it went 12.6@116 but the clutch was slipping from previous owner glazing it I guess. So we modded up and hit the 11s but i did not expect to go so deep in the 10S that easily.

Well I ended up trashing the Tilton clutch. Second gear burnouts and 1.5 60's didnt agree with it. Going to a RPS twin carbon with aluminum flywheel. Hoping it will get me in the low 1.4 60' range and net a 10.3x ET @ 133ish. Still have a stock intake to work on yet too. Other mods I done for the the 10.5 passes were a lithium battery and removed the sway bar. COntemplating dropping the npp mufflers for the next track outing they are 23 pounds each and I could remove the passenger seat to get me in the 30xx race weight range.

Tough break on the clutch, though. More $$$ is always hard to spend, but hopefully this keeps you going strong. The only problem (i'm sure you realize) is that hitting 10.3 or 10.25 is going to put you in dangerous situation. You'll be so close to 9s. Dude, i love it.

40-lbs from the mufflers. Another ... 40? 50? lbs from the passenger seat. That will be near enough to 100-lbs (45-kg) to make a significant difference. You might just be into the 10.2 range. That's super quick, mate.

Well done.

((edit)):
Note, dropping mufflers completely and removing passenger seat makes it less of a pure-street setup. But who cares? You can still literally drive to the track, a couple wrench turns to remove 'dead weight' as is standard for track prep, and make the run. Congrats again on the great numbers.

.

Thanks Joe! I appreciate the interest a few of the guys have in here. Imagine if I could do race brakes, strip the interior, get rid of air bags, drop the mufflers, race steering wheel, no AC, Radio etc etc for sure you could dance with the 9s with stock heads and stock cam. I refuse to do some of these things lol I like having a complete car but I am not against pulling a seat and mufflers for a glory run

Picked up a mid runner fast and NW 102. Car pulls so much smoother and all the way to 7000. Will have dyno result comparison soon....... looking for those 134-135 trap speeds

Took my car to a local show that had a portable dyno I had been on before. This is not tuned yet but it picked up a solid 25rwhp from 6600-7100.

It looks like you added HP and TQ across the board also which is going to pull nicely

Great add on!

Thanks,Matt
