Rip the foam "holders" out of them would probably free up some space.

Get a folding cup holder and mount it on the passenger side.

Another vote for this. I hate how close the oem holders are to the gear shift because it really harshes my air guitar.

Another vote. We have one for the passenger side attached to a plexiglas at floor level. It works great and can be folded out of the way when not in use.
We had a dual cup holder prior, but since it protuded out a bit, it always seem to be bothersome to the passenger seating comfort. The fold-a-way holder is 100% better.

I have the Travel Buddy. It works great and no issues with the Yeti. Purchased from Corvette Central.

I added the center cap decal afterwards. I got those on e-bay as well a long time ago.

I don't use the cup holders that are in there. No drinks allowed, even by the owner.....

I bought the folding cup holder on e-bay (search: folding cup holder) which come in a few colors, black, cashmere etc.
I bought a small piece of plexiglass at Home Depot, cut it to the size I needed to wedge in under radio surround console and attached the cup holder to the plexi.
I attached door edge guard to the sides of the plexiglass to give it a finis look.
The decals were purchased from a forum vendor that was getting rid of that stock. They are listed on e-bay as well. Search: (c6 corvette center cap decal)

The plexi is wedged under the side of the console up top just in front of the passenger seat and the floor carpet on the bottom. The plexi is the exact same height as the travel buddy cup holders and wedged in the same way as is the plexi.
here is a pic of how to wedge in the travel buddy.

What are the measurements of the plexi?
Height?
Width?
Thickness?
Why did you make the plexi cup holder holder for 1 cup only? Why not for 2 cups?
Thanks in advance!

I only wanted 1 cup holder for my passenger, which is why it is so close to the floor. I use the regular cup holder for my drinks, which is usually a bottle of water.
If I had wanted it to be used by the driver, I would of had mounted the cup holder portion up a bit higher on the plexi
The plexi is 1/8" thick
11 3/4" high
2 1/2" wide + the door edge trim on each side for 2 7/8"

Hope this was helpful
