The amazon link for this retainer is for GM Part# 11588818....is it the same as the GM Part# 11561329? Do you know? Reading inside the Amazon link and copying the just part of the link... it shows this link for 3 different GM parts....11588818/dp/B0040CTUZ0/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1522 693444&sr=1-1&keywords=GM+Part%23+11561329

11561329 Rocker Molding Retainer
11609871Bumper Cover Retainer
Note, I didn't have to remove the entire bumper cover as some suggest when fixing this. I just loosened the screws/clips by the radiator to allow enough flex in the bumper cover to remove the old clip with a flathead screwdriver. Insert the clip and press firmly on the cover and you're done! Just be gentle, but this was an easy fix.

I am getting ready to undertake this fix. I have the clips (11561329) but am not sure if I will also need the bumper cover retainer (11609871). I think I will take a look and see what it looks like inside first. If all goes well, I should have several left over clips for anyone who may need them.

Melting Slicks
Both of my sides are lifting but one more than the other. Looking at the picture obviously the clip is broke, do I just pop out what is remaining of the broken clip and pop a new one in?
