Ebay or Amazon can be your friend on these two filters -- and easy to install yourself. then take the remaining $$ and buy several good bottles of red wine to congratulate yourself.

one filter is the Engine Air -- the other is a Cabin Filter.

25 ? Hell I was rebuilding my own engines when I was 17. If anyone in your area offers a basic auto repair class I'd suggest you take it, learning to do some of the basics can save you a lot of money over the years.

Using year of your C6, search uTube for C6 air filer replacement.
Videos guide through process, fairly easy; but, do use caution w/ MAF & its wiring.

Don't ignore cabin filter, either.
Older car is more likely filter's dirty & ready for replacement since its used whenever heat/AC/defroster's on, which is more often than one thinks.
CF isn't expensive and even easier to install than AF.
Videos @ uT detailing this, also.

If buying from Amazon/eBay, might even be offered a combo deal on both.

No to be factious but unfortunately Ron this is the age of the "millennials" and they just don't seem to be like us older guys were back in the day when all I could think of was "CARS & Pu**Y"

Change the cabin filter too. Both are easy DIY items.

08vett ...

Here is a photo of your engine air intake housing (red arrow) .... You need to remove it.

The replaceable engine air filter element will be found inside the very front of this air intake housing assembly.

Simple job ...

Here is what the filter element looks like:

I'm beginning to think these people are coming out of the woodwork out of boredom just to annoy some of us? I hope that's the case and that their questions are not genuine.
