I'm loosening the front fender on the passenger side and the plastic inner fender liner at the bottom below the battery behind the wheel and suddenly this falls to the ground: (the round glass bezel, not the blade dispenser )
I think it's probably kicked up from the road, or even something left in from the factory ( I found a nice ball peen hammer once ), but I thought I'd ask the forum just in case it protects something important that I can't see.

The previous didn't take good care of the car. There are several rust streaks down the frame that look like they come from the battery. GM, who puts the ECM below the battery ??
