What is the "likes of you and your kind" exactly. I just mentioned OEM filter is good. Prove me wrong. Try whatever you want.

I just installed a A65821 Purolator in my 2012 base coupe. I can confirm it runs pretty much the same as it always has.

So I see trying to have a reasonable conversation around here is going to be impossible as long as we have these f'n idiots hanging around. I will do my own research and testing and just keep the information to myself.

I have two used oil filters for sale, five bucks each, you pick up. I washed them out with gasoline, as good as new.

And while you're here, I also have a pile of used condoms for sale. Ran 'em through the washing machine, good as new but no guarantees on leakage. As is, a dollar a dozen.

Far more dirt than I care to have in my engine. If I want to get real serious at the track, I'll go without a filter. It's only good for about .003 anyway.

Probably wouldn't do any measurable harm, as track air is probably much cleaner than public road air.

Most marine engines don't have true air filters either; there is no need for them because of the environment they run in.

You can call 'em condoms, but that size is really a finger cot.
