You order something from lets say Amazon, or Walmart, or many other retailors, and the item is shipped within a couple of days at most ...

But you order from some of these Corvette parts suppliers, and it may take months to get the item.

What's wrong with this picture !

Well the RFE steering wheel is a custom order. Vasiliy makes them one at a time. It isn’t his full time job and he isn’t a big company so he builds as ordered. I have one for about a month now... the quality is AMAZING. It’s well worth the wait.

Lulu just got some new shoes. She'll also be getting some wheel chocks, a OBDII port reader, and maybe one or two other fairly inexpensive items.

Looks like I might be adding a MGW shifter to the list. I'll be checking it out this weekend.

That's what I had in mind for our new to us Monterey Red coupe. It will have to wait until the original run flats are gone, so another 20K? It is technically the wife's, but could be a hand me down to me someday. Still debating black chrome or chrome for extra bling for her.

A visit to the dealer. Top was replaced due to a recall and the latch won't stay in place on the new one. Also has a random no start issue.

The Good Lord gave me our base C6 back in '08 and it just got a roommate. A 2006 blue La Mans Z. Soon it will be saddled with the Curt trailer hitch I used on the '08 so we can pull a square set of 18" Avons to the three road courses we have here near the Bay Area. Praise God for sending His Son. Merry Christmas to all!
