wtf?

Made no sense to me either???

Congrats OP from another '05 owner, got mine in April, nothing but smiles since!!!
If you have an A6 as the OP says he has try pushing the gas pedal down, especially when it's wet and you are going around 35, until it downshifts on it's own. Maybe you will learn something new and not have to wtf when you don't understand a post. But then again maybe your car needs a tune........

Congrats! I got my 05 last month and LOVE her. It’s all the talk of the neighborhood. I’m 44 so naturally all of the questions about a midlife crisis are coming fast and furious. I tell them it’s more of a midlife celebration!

Enjoy

I understand what you're trying to tell the OP but if he has any experience with any vehicle in the rain then he'll know not to be stomping it while it's raining anyways. Also, he does NOT have an A6.

Another 05 owner wishing you congratulations. Check out my avatar. One correction: I believe the color of your car is PRECISION RED.

I'm not saying stomping it, I said push the pedal till it shifts down by itself... and he said..."All stock, precession red 1sb automatic." If it's not 6 gears in the 05 he may get the same result. Just because you give a new vette ower a little advice doen't mean it's automatically worthless to him as you seem to think. I'll let him decide that.
