tread of front tires at 7/32 and rears at 4/32
Got my set of 4 Bridgestone RE050 run-flats for my '13 GS vert at 17,500 miles. Now at 44,000 and the fronts have 7/32nd's of tread left, while the rears are at 4/32nd's. Is it normal to have the rears wear faster than the fronts? Looks like I'll be replacing the rears and keeping the fronts.

I replaced my original GY's at 23k with Non run flat Firestones. Now at 64k miles I am at 5/32 all but the left rear which is 4/32. So they are fairly even.
I did have a C5 z06 that wore heavier in the rear. Turned out to be worn out toe rods. Replaced them and had a good 4 wheel alignment done and got more even wear.

On C6s, the front runflats that come from the factory have 10/32 inches of tread, the rears have 9/32 inches of tread when new. Don't know whether replacement tires from other brands are that way or not.

Generally, if you are pretty easy on the car when accelerating and not every spinning the rear tires the FRONT will wear quicker than the rears. The font has more weight/area of contact patch plus it is doing all of the steering work while the rears just kinda roll round for the most part.
But Vette_DD brings up an interesting tid-bit.

I consistently get 2 worn out fronts to 1 worn out rear. Different tires most times that I replace (6 fronts, 3 rears). I'm on Pirelli P ZERO now with signs of good wear.
I'm at 130K on the car.

If you accelerate hard the rears will wear faster than the fronts.
If you have too much toe-in on the alignment it will also cause them to wear faster.
If your not driving hard consider a 4 wheel alignment.
