Default 427 vert. 25 reasons IMHO

The 2013 427 vert 60th Annv. Why I love this car.
Will it be a collector? I don’t care I’m driving and loving it. The ZR1 and Z06 incredible cars as well!!
In no special order of the things I love.

1. Stripes running over car and vert top.
2. ZR1 spoiler.
3. ZR1 wheels and tires 19” and 20”
4. Dual mode exhaust auto
5. Sound of exhaust
6. The stance
7. The front splitter and side valence.
8. Wide body
9. The 427 LS7
10. Badging 60th annv.
11. 427 floor Matt’s
12. 7grand tach and guages
13. Color of blue artic white
14. Leather dash and interior
15. The ride is smooth
16. The carbon fiber
17. Last 427
18. Launch control
19. Vert!!!
20. Six speed
21. Best of ZR1 and Z06 brakes and drivetrain suspension
22. Idles at 650 rpm and drivability
23. Technology in the engine and car
24. The water fall
25. IMHO the best body style. It looks like it’s fast just sitting there.

They are beautiful cars. Kind of a combination of all the best features of the C6 generation.

Were the special edition 427s all convertibles? (I know there was also the Z06, but that's different)

I think Chevy only made about 2250 of these cars so it is a rare Corvette. There were less than 200 fully optioned 4LT 60th Anniversary cars made. As far as rare and unique Corvettes go like the 63 SWC or the 67 427/435HP the 60th Anniversary car at 427/505HP deserves to be in that conversation IMHO. Chevy combined modern tech., Carbon Fiber, Stability Control and Mag Ride to help keep you safe when the 505 horses exercise. All of those features separate the 60th from other Corvettes and put it in the top collector corvette conversation.

Yeah, I'm totally in love with this car. In addition to all that, it is sort of stealthy. Normally people do not know what it is.

Until I'm sold on the direct injection engines (not yet), I'm claiming that this is the best Corvette ever made (must be a convertible for me). Yes, the ones from the 60's look cool, but this car is light years ahead of them in many ways.

should be able to get some kind of idea of numbers and options from this attachment............... total was 2552............ other colors were rarer than the white, as the white and silver blue stripe package was the Anniversary Edition option available on all models of the 2013 C6 line-up
