I know all about the USA-1 ad campaign that Chevrolet used to run and in fact I had one of those tags. But those tags said USA-1 not UESA-1. Just saying that most people will not understand UESA.

so far, it's about 50% of who gets it. as I mentioned previously,
I would rather have had "USA 1", but as it's always taken, I tried to get as close as I could. just thinking outside the box.

they are plenty of plates out there that, have meanings that are
hidden, or for insiders only. so even if no one else got it, I do.

I did not. I'm know that their are quite a few other options too.
I do not like to over think things. when I found one that DMV let me use, I went for it. I'm good with it. besides, with it being not as obvious, it does it take a bit more to figure out ( not for all though ).

I thought about throwing this out first, looking for ideas.
but I like creating for myself.

you guys have come up with some good options though.

maybe some else will run with them(?).

you could always use the actual front "USA 1" front, but then you'd
be stuck with the front license plate issue.

all I needed was to have at least one other person "get it".
would have been a problem it if got the wrong one, or it made no sense at all.

time to get out and drive!

That just doesn't work at all. UESA 1??? There's only one USA-1 from those 60's promotions.

personally, anyone who's not into GM/chevy, I've had to explain it.
and that's ok too.
i know that "USA 1" is not known to all, but it's those who do know, that I'm hoping appreciate it.

while it doesn't work from a literal standpoint, neither 90% of the others out there.
just trying my best to keep the heritage alive.
not upset or looking for approval, just stating my loyalty.

let's just have a cold one and celebrate that we have a C6!

I doubt they would lose sales. Most of that crowd either don't drive at all, or they drive priuses or other ricers.

I agree about the screws, but look a little closer, it already has a paint matching frame! I just got one for my car, and ordered matching paint screw caps to go with it!

screws. great. another thing on the "to do" list.
I only had to wait 4 months for the plates.
I've got a feeling that the screws, may take a bit longer.

Since yours doesn't have anything to do with USA-1, I'll show mine.

I ordered California legacy plates but not personalized. It was either the luck of the draw or the DMV knew an LS2 was 400 HP.

LOL, the frame is clear as day now. I think I was on my third glass of wine when I first saw it, and there was no frame.

I get on those screws right away!
preference of which type?
should be color matched?
I was hoping to go for a drive this weekend, but now I feel pressured into to addressing this.
left me have a sierra Nevada PA first and think about it.

Is it me, or does it look like the prisoner that stamped the plates had too much toilet wine the night before.

Hence it looks like the the lower letter set is angling down to the right.
