Default Value 2005, Auto, 98,000 miles, Clean.

2005
Auto
98,000 Miles

(Looks very clean, may take a look at it, just requested service records).

What should I look for on early C6's ???

What would be a bargain price, He's saying everything works, never had an issue with the car ?

$15k-ish? Still some factors like location, tires, "cleaness". The passenger seat belt looks kinda ragged and the seat itself doesn't appear tip-top either. What does the driver's side look like?

Also, the car's original color is LeMans Blue. Why is it white? Is it paint or a wrap? Center console has been repainted black which isn't really much but just be aware.

Drivers side looks about the same. As far as price, I was thinking 15k tops. It's the dead of winter here now, the seller, say's he's looking at a new one. I may look and if interested offer 14k.

My concern would be what is the white wrap hiding?
It almost looks like the panels were removed to do the wrap. Which is pretty extensive.

Under hood picture. Why is the valve cover weird? There is a strange wire(s) going across the power steering reservoir. What is it for? It is missing the cover over the twin air filter boxes.

Few things to remember, check the tires, there not cheap to buy, check radiator hoses, 13 year old car. I have 05, and just replaced bottom hose, cause it started leaking, and I only have 63,000 miles.
Don't buy car you have to sink $$$$ into it, and would say like the rest 15 top price, there will be always another coming around the corner, specially with that high mileage.

Thanks for the input guy's. I asked about the RPO codes and he didn't know what I was talking about. This one smells a little fishy, could be a money pit? Own a very nice 92 right now with less than 60,000 miles. Probably better to wait until I'm ready to spend another 10k for a low mileage 6M breezer C6.

Good idea, when the next generations comes out, people will be selling C6 to buy C7, that's what I am waiting for, two year old C7.

$14.5... more important, with the kind of mileage and age, what maintenance is needed this year. “Never had an issue with it” HAH he must have bought it last nite! NEVER trust a seller who makes those sort of statements.... puffing at its best!

I say if he can't give it away for $12k then run away. Too many issues with it now. It is definitely the example of a car that needs some TLC. I question the wrap also and why get rid of Lemans Blue? Seats look like you can get a disease from it. If he hasn't changed the spark plugs that would need to be done, maybe the tires, probably other fluids. It just doesn't give the impression that it was maintained good. The weather seal on the left edge of engine bay isn't even on right and that is a simple fix. What is worst is that he actually took a picture of it with it that way.

I'd check the service records with VIN, the under hood picture bothers me the most.
