Default Help with wheel fitment

Hello everyone,
i am new to the forum so forgive me if this topic has been beaten to death but you folks are my last hope.

i have a 2008 ZHZ which is a base model. I bought a C6 Z06 brake upgrade for it and I want to get a set of wheels that will fit properly without getting the widebody panels from the Z06 to swap out. Those parts are ridiculously expensive here in Canada.

Any help is greatly appreciative.

Simply buy larger diameter wheels that are the same width as your originals, and with the same backspacing. You won't find an original GM wheel, you'll have to go aftermarket. There are dozens of wheels to choose from.

You might be able to just run a spacer, and clear them. Back in the day when the C6 Z06 first came out people would run the GUMBY wheels and spacers to Clear C6 Z06 brakes on a narrow body C6. See thread below:

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...by-wheels.html

Also back in the Day guys would run ACE Slick wheels(without wide fenders) to clear them.

I list I found through simple search of wheels that would fit(But need wider fenders for most)

OEM C5 Z06 Rear
Ace Slick
CCW C14
CCW SP500 with 1" lip (front) and 2" lip (rear)
Forgestar F14
Forgestar CF5
OEM C6 Z06 and GS
TSW Nurburgring
XO Verona
C7 Z06 Reproduction

this guy is selling a set of the ACE wheels, all you would need is these wheels to clear the Z06 brakes.
