I live in Florida (Tampa Bay). Just think you are no longer under the control of a bunch of wacko's. Now you can have long tubes, catted X-pipe aftermarket exhaust, and all the other items outlawed in the left wing state.

I live in Sarasota...the land of the old and run by a legislature better know as the Psycho Circus. We also have a govener probably guilty of the largest Medicare fraud in history...good luck.

Tim you'll be roughly a hour away from the east coast and Daytona International Speedway. Always something going on and a high concentration of car events and people. Active Vette clubs up and down the coast.

Theres a good corvette club, google The Villages then navigate from there. Located 18 miles south of ocala. Very good car shows there several times each year.

We moved from LA to Citrus County last year. I bought a 2010 Convertible Thursday. So glad to get out of CA after 40 years.

Moved to the east coast of Florida 3.5 years ago from NY. I meet many different car club members even from Ocala. We have a very large Corvette show once a year in Fort Pierce, Florida. The clubs come from all over Florida to attend. Hosted by the Stuart Corvette Club.
There are many car shows in Florida as you will soon find out. Near me they have 4-5 shows per week. Good luck on your move.

Thanks for all the input on the move. I live in the eastern part of CA near the Sierras. My wife and I can't wait to get out of this state - too much in the way of taxes and regulations and only getting worse. I retire in March and move in early April. I look forward to getting together with fellow Corvette owners in the Sunshine State.
