Default FOB/Battery/Both/?

Gone for 6 weeks and battery on trickle charger.
New FOB batteries ~6 months ago.
Yesterday -
Car door opens, tried to start engine but tick, tick, tick.
Interior lights very dim.
Get out, close door and neither FOB will open door.

Today -
FOB in hand, door opens but tick, tick, tick.
Close door and FOB won't open door.
Pressed truck lid button and lid opens.
Pulled the cord and driver's door opens.
Got back into car and placed FOB in glovebox slot.
DIC is displaying all kinds of info.
Starter switch lights green.
Press starter switch and all lights go out then tick, tick, tick.

Advice welcomed and TIA.

Oops - it's a 13, 427, vert ~27k miles

Your battery is dead. Did you have it on a battery tender or an actual trickle charger? A trickle charger is not meant to be left on a battery for long periods of time and will ruin a battery if it is.

Thank you.

Dead was also my guess.

Dead battery! Dump battery if old or charge it up.

Reindex the windows and resave the seats and mirrors to the 1 and 2 pole positions.

You want a battery tender, not a trickle charger as stated above. Costco has a Deltran Battery Tender for 29 bucks! Walmart for 49 bucks. Works great. I have them on my toys where I have electric.

I've not had mine long enough for the fob batteries to go. My other vehicles have a fob battery light. Vette? Use the slot in the glove box if the systems has forgotten the fobs.

The "systems" will never forget the fobs.
