Congrats! I am flying out to Florida next week to pick up a C6Z. I am excited so I can imagine how excited you were to watch it roll off the trailer. Nice ride!

Mine C6 GS is Red Metallic Tint Coat, but I have a friend in FLA with an Atomic Orange Base coupe. I happen to really like the "In your face" color!................
Best of luck and enjoy it...........

I appreciate the comments. The part that is tough for me next is buying new tires due to these being the originals with date codes showing the 38th week of 2008. 90% of the tread must still be remaining but tires pushing ten years old is worrisome. It's just wasteful, like throwing out good food, but I don't want to be thinking about them cruising on the interstates in 90 degree weather this summer. I'm getting the Michelin PS A/S to replace the Goodyears. New TPMS sensors too due to age. I have these Michelins on my GT/CS and probably the best tire I have ever owned.

I have the AS3 RF now, replaced the AS. Good tire but can be noisy when they wear some.

I kind of expect that with most tires after they wear 50% or more, especially when you can't rotate them. I've had only one other car with a staggered tire setup (a BMW) and while I loved the Goodyears I had, they became noisier and noisier as the tread wore down. I'm only down about 25% on my Mustang's Michelins and still perfect, but I also can rotate those.

Beautiful car! As to the old man comments, I bought my first new Corvette in 1980, when I was twenty-seven. I am now sixty-three, and the fire still burns!

I just purchased my dream Vette, a ZR1, a couple of months ago. You young guys, will get old, if you're lucky. And if you are luckier still, you might have a Vette!

I don't post much any more but sometime something is said that I can't ignore.

My 78th birthday was the 11th of this month so I'm probably among the older members.
Anyone with clear eyesight can't possibly think my Vette looked better with chrome than with my gloss black C7 Z51 replicas.

Atomic orange is a fantastic color. In your face, bold, get out of my way. I'm a Corvette ! Having previous cars with tan interiors I have developed a not so positive outlook on it. They look bland , ordinary, with no invite me in and take a closer look feature. Lite grey / charcoal would be a great choice. Of course depending on the exterior red or blue are also exciting. Can't wait to see the new orange for the C-7 recently promoted. Makes sense were spoiled by such nice cars and picky about colors that have little to do with the experience.

That's another thing I had to have. Bought my first Vette in Feb. 2014 one month after my 74th birthday. This old man couldn't consider anything other than a manual transmission.
