Where do you buy you fuel for your vette?

I buy Shell V-Power whenever possible, although BP and Mobil premiums have been in the tank when a Shell station is not available.
I never have used any additives, and at 11 1/2 years in service and a little over 130,000 trouble free miles, I don't believe any are necessary.

This is not true everywhere Frank. I live in the Chicago area and drive to photo shoots in a 500 mile radius. Many of the shell stations I fill up at have 91. Your car may require 93, but mine is stock and 91 works fine.

I remain skeptical of Costco. Until recently it wasn't top tier. My wife used it exclusively in her car and needed new injectors at 60k miles. I use Shell or Chevron if I can and other name first tier such as Phillips 66 if I need to and never have had any issue related to fuel except one time when, on my bike, I couldn't find brand name so used a local brand. Within 100 miles, my bike was sputtering and stalling.
The BMW dealer gave me BMW brand super Techron fuel cleaner which cleared the problem up.
Back to my wife's car. The ONLY unscheduled maintenance she experienced during her now 100k on the car were those injectors. I'm convinced cheap fuel did her in.

I've been using 87 mainly from Sams club for 9 years with no problems. I don't drive it hard usually and change the oil long before it's due and have 47K on it.

Yep, 87 can be used as long as you don't expect the same performance results. Your fuel economy will suffer slightly also, at least based on the experience of a friend of mine. He used 87 on a round trip from the Chicago area to Florida, and saw about a 2MPG drop compared to highway driving in this area using 93.

would like a little more quiet ride.
Who has done any modification such as sound deadening or extra insulation to there vets to dull out the road noise?
anyone have any suggestions tried and true?
My ZR just seems to have a little more road noise than I would like to have.

This might be a question to ask in a new thread. Not sure the relevance to this thread.

That way you do not have to spend extra for a bottle of techron. My 180 k miles dd' s valves looked brand new with zero deposits after 18 years on chevron. Thank god i do not have direct injection.

Mostly Costco. Consumer Reports latest gas ratings put it as the top gas. The most detergents of any at 93 Octane. I was also talking to the manager at ours as I was asking about how much gas they turn, because the truck seems to be there all the time. He told me they take deliveries, 3-4 truckloads, every day...tells you it is fresh gas and no water!
On top of all of this, it is typically $.20 a gallon cheaper and when using your Costco card to pay for it, you get another 3% back in rebates.

That seems impossible unless they have very small underground tanks or 100 gas pumps. I am probably wrong and sure to be told so but that seems like a lot of gas to be moving every day.
