Default Is this thing Stock or what!?

Hello forum members! First off I love this page, second, you guys are aweosme. I recently purchased my 1st C6 a few weeks ago and noticed it already had a few upgrades: intake and exhaust. But how can I find out if it had other modifications? Like headers, other parts? Just curious! Thanks all.

Welcome to the forum, Gus, and congratulations on your C6!
It's a little tough to help with mods on your car. Hopefully the prior owner can help fill you in on the mods, if any.
Headers should be visible with the hood open. These will be long, round pipes coming off the heads. Factory exhausts will appear to be flatter pipes and will not be as long as headers. Unfortunately I'm working off my iPad and not good at cutting and posting pics with it. You should be able to google headers and factory exhaust to see the difference.
If you have after market heads they will probably have the manufacturers name etched into the front of each head and again this should be visible when looking at the engine. Some shops that do porting or other enhancements to the heads may inscribe their name on the heads but not all shops do this.
Some other mods, such as upgraded intakes or throttle bodies may be evident. I'd encourage you to look at many pictures of your engine. Being more familiar with the look of the engine might help you with this.
Perhaps you can find car meets nearby that may have Corvette enthusiasts there who can help you more. You may be able to find these meets in the regional discussion part of the forum.
Best wishes

Long tube headers will have individual pipes between each spark plug. Stock header will be sort of a log.

Depends a bit on where you live which isn't in your profile. I'd suggest getting with a local Corv club and finding out an indie shop from them that works on Corvettes. Not the only solution; you can look at the car, go under it, put it on a lift, but some of the things aren't immediately obvious. You can even find an excellent GM dealer to help you with it, but not everyone knows one.

If it has more significant mods besides aftermarket exhaust and intake, you will want to know just exactly how much and what it is. Even more important is, are the things working together and if there are more (than mufflers and intake), has the engine been tuned? Is the tune any good or was it left from the last addition and not brought up to date? In which case it could be running lean, which is a real concern.

You also don't mention anything about year, model, options, miles, etc. which would help a bit. Obviously, the more miles the more potential for things to go right, or wrong. Good luck and welcome!
