The comments people post here... not sure if they're serious or not. I daily drive my 600 WHP C6 Z06 all over, every day. It has almost 60,000 miles on it. Drove it in the snow about 200 miles last week with Michelin Super Sports. Honestly I feel like some of you guys give the Corvette community that "car waxer, tacky chrome" reputation.

The Genesis and life of a model:
1st owner - buys brand new, money is either less or no object, usually less of an emotional attachment. 1st Owner uses up the best years then sells it and starts over.
2nd owner - tends to be more of an emotional purchase and usually the best caretaker. Also when mods are more prevalent especially as car comes off warranty, along with the widest variety of uses - DD, track, drag car, etc. Probably where the real "love" for the model resides.
3rd, 4th, 5th, Nth owners - Here is where the model quickly degrades to high mileage; DD; beater status. Buyers in this category are kids, bottom feeders, etc., often using funds to purchase that don't make a lot of sense, e.g.: cashing in 401Ks and using the kids college money.
C6 is there now.....

man, the stupid subject matter of topic on this forum has driven me away from it. I used to visit this forum several times a day, now maybe 2-3 times a week. Has it always been this way? or all the dummy youth buying up the high mileage C6's now?
