Interesting. I used G2 and the Inferno Orange is a near perfect match to my car. Calipers came out great & it’s been just over a year & they look just as they did when I painted them.

I also did the G2, I’ve always had my calipers powder coated but was trying to save some money. They turned out nice but not as nice as the powder coat does. I wish that TPS offered Atomic Orange! Hind sight being what it is, I probably would’ve used TPS if they had AO, and if they get it in the future I could see a swap out....

I have a orange-red calipers on my MS C6.

Gotten tired of them cause everyone has red.

If I had to do over I would go with Silver with black writing. It would blend in more.

I have com grey rims.

Candy Blue, powder coated. I’m hoping they are in the mod budget for 2019!

Vette isn't silver but here are pics of victory red calipers from TPS on my victory red C6. I posted previously but deleted before I saw there were other pictures of calipers on Vette's that weren't silver.

So don't buy them. Not sure what your point is. For people who want something done professionally and are not worried about spending the money, this is a great option.

When you get to be my age the last thing you want to do is waste time let alone 10 hours trying to paint your own calipers.

I wanted rebuilt and powder coated calipers and TPS had by far the best prices. Their customer service is great.
Painted calipers can look good BUT it takes ALOT of work and prepping... usually even when done well it's like a 20FT job... looks good from 20FT away but when you get close really can see the flaws. Our powder coated calipers look like they are glass.

How do they look up close? Usually G2 is a 10-20FT job... and unless you take the calipers off and really clean them real good there are areas where it's not completely painted. G2 Paint doesn't come close to how a properly powder coated caliper looks. Our powder coated calipers look WAY better than stock and looks like glass

The calipers you have look more brownish than AO. We have colors which match well with AO but it's very hard to have an exact match because calipers are Aluminum and powder coat is a powder where as the body of a Vette is Fiberglass and is painted. If you would like to select your own color we can.. click the link below to select the color you believe matches best to you

Well to answer your question the first pic I posted was taken from about 2.5' ft away with my crappy Iphone & they look even better in person. If you half-*** anything it may look good from a distance and like crap up close. I don't half-*** anything, so if you consider the time I spent painting my calipers in relation to my salary ($/hr) it probably equated to more than what it would have cost getting them powdercoated. However, I prefer to take pride in doing things myself instead of paying others to do it for me.

I also wouldn't generalize that the G2 paint jobs are poor caliper paint jobs, 9/10 probably it's the prep & time taken (or not taken) to do it correctly. You can promote your product/service without bashing another.

Like I said above... alot of it is prep with G2... in order to have it come out nice a person needs to make sure the surfaces and nice and clean. Wasn't trying to bash your calipers as they look good from the pictures but was more giving my experience from all the G2 Painted Calipers we get in as cores... most of them looked pretty bad. Here is the worst set I've ever seen turned in as a core. This was G2 Caliper Paint
