I hate to be "one of those", but search the forum general and tech sections for the answer that is already there in at least a hundred threads. This question seems to get asked at least every other day.

Do it it’s awesome!!! But stock parts could be hard to find. Someone has to have some kind of a kit. Hell GM might have all the controls!!

Find a used set on here. Bolt them on. Buy a mild to wild box, run the vacuum line and enjoy.

If you bought a Z06 as stated, the bi-modal exhaust is standard. Worst case is that someone swapped out the mufflers for an aftermarket setup in which case you simply need to buy a replacement set of Z06 mufflers. Everything else should already be there.

Have you bothered to look and see if the bi-modal mufflers are on the car? if they are, then the next step is to start troubleshooting why the system is not working properly.

You will just pull the fuse. Save your money, get a aftermarket exhaust that sounds good to you.

Guys to many times people confuse a MILD TO WILD switch with the NPP in a BOX

They are not the same ....................................

This could cause someone to buy the wrong thing .....

Mild to Wild Switch - for cars that came from the Factory with NPP ( BASE AND GS ) or BI MODE ( Z06 and ZRI ) mufflers . uses the factory Vacuum switch , allows constant open , constant closed or factory operation

NPP in a BOX - for cars that DID NOT come with either muffler system factory installed . NPP in a BOX allows you to retro fit a vacuum control box in car that did not come from the factory with NPP or BI Mode mufflers , the kit comes with an adapt a tap for vacuum that operates the valves , vacuum line , vacuum control module and two key fobs to operate the valve allowing an open or close with the push of a button . you can also wire up the control box to default to " START car with valves open open or START CAR with valves closed

If he has a z06, all he has to do is put a stock z06 system on. Can find a used one for $300-500 easy.

Yep it's all good .... Mild to Wild has just become a such a generic term for turning the valves on and off ...
