12 years with my C6
31 Jan was the 12 year mark for me and my C6. I picked it up from the NCM with 2 miles on it. It now has 40440 miles. Yes it is not a DD. I have taken it on several long distance trips and it has been back to the NCM once. I have done a lot of things to it over the past 12 years to personalise it. The major mods were a Vortech V2 SC, new wheels, and a rear wide booty. The rest are mostly for show and I do show this car at most of the local shows. At the end of April it will take the spot from my old C4 conv. as the longest I've owned a car since I started driving in 1973. I hope the car and I hang in for another 12 years. Here's before and after pics.

Long term ownership doesn't happen very often. You have found your match. Nice!

Nicely done!!!
12 years is a long time. My last two were both 16 years, then I realized that's too long as there are other flavors to try!!

Congratulations! I made it 11yrs 1 month w/my ‘06 z51 before a sleep deprived driver took it out. I had plans to give it to my son someday since I was only owner, to keep it in the family. Hopefully nothing will happen to my replacement ZO6...

feels to say, but 55years old, I'm a rookie here. I've just started my second year of ownership ( 01/2017 ). so far, It's been a blast!
I've managed to keep it stock so far, for the most part ( NPP delete, swapped the cags fuse, changed the shift **** ). I'm trying to keep as "stock" as in can, for as long as I can, but if I'm still in possession of it after 12 yrs, pretty sure that I will have done upgrades along the way.
from when I bought it ( 98k miles ), I've able to add about 20k miles to it. that is most just weekend driving. planning on a 6k mile trip in may with my daughter.
thanks for lead the way!
congrats!
