Atomic Orange best orange?

Gents...how bout we just agree to say that Vettes look great in just about ANY color?
I've owned a 78 Black/Oyster Fastback that my son called the "Batmobile", a 00 Mag Red/Oak Roadster, an 05 Daytona Sunset Orange Metallic/Cashmere Coupe and now a 10 Jet Stream Blue/Ebony & Titanium Coupe that I absolutely LOVE. As a matter of fact, I LOVED THEM ALL and I received many compliments on them all!

When I took this photo the other day at my neighbor's house when I showed him my car, I knew I made the right choice. Being out in the sun yields amazing results.

Melting Slicks
The first time I saw Atomic Orange I was in love. I had a '69 Le Mans Blue/black coupe at the time and, because it was an untampered 427 numbers car, I repainted it to the stock color, but I kept thinking how cool that coke bottle fuselage with all those swoopy lines would have looked in Atomic Orange. BTW, what the hell is "DSOM"? I'm guessing "Dark S____ Orange Metallic"? The only orange car I've ever owned was a '72 240Z. It was a used one year old car when I bought it and I wondered if I would be able to live with an orange car. That orange wasn't quite the statement that Atomic Orange is, but I learned to love that one too.

I almost pulled the trigger on one 08 C6 Z51 M/T Atomic Orange Great Choice. it was sold the day before I could get there. Had to settle for (89U)

I love my AO but would be just as pleased if it were DSOM as for the Sebring Orange, if that was the color used on the new ZR1 that they recently revealed at the Dubai auto show my reaction was WTF! It looks like they chose the color of a can of Orange Crush.
