JacobVrrrm, Arizona. Off an old 330i ~ fit my C6 perfectly ~ the mental lapse referred to would be mine although tire shops and my local garagistes have been known not to notice a puck is needed.
Enjoy the heat. We've another couple of months before my cars are out of storage.

corvettes are about performance. drag hinders that.
i've installed wheel skirts, more flat panels to cover undercarriage gaps, and i even installed high-power HIDs in the fogs so i can drive at night with the headlights down.

Okay, a couple MPH in the flying mile is possible. That is probably around a 2% gain, which is significant. Congratulations.

But (BIG BUT), gaining "a couple mpg on the street" is impossible. Reducing overall drag at under 70mph on a vehicle that is already very well designed for that purpose is not going to yield even a "couple tenths MPG" at street speeds (35 to 70, or so).

I would like to see pics of your car and mods. That is a great idea, putting HID into the fogs ports.

I am curious to know what you got up to in the mile. Is it a base, Z, coupe, vert, etc?

Wish I could do a mile run, but there is no facility anywhere near here, as far as I know.

mods & (slightly old) pic in my signature... well, i forgot to mention the tune
24/33mpg in town/hwy based on the DIC averages reset every time i fill up
trapping the mile mid-way through 6th @ 183mph (about 4000rpm)

Yes, I've had four of them on my C6 for about 12 years. They work fine.

They stick down a little proud of the rockers. A couple times I've driven (slowly) over some questionable speedbumps and brushed the pucks. Better than scraping the bodywork.

my round pucks protrude about 5/8" below the rockers. Maybe a problem on a GS, but not on my base.
