My wife and I are going to pick up a 427 convertible in mid late March (time is gonna drag, lol!). We're going to be flying to the dealer, and then taking a week of spring break vacation with the car before we drive home. We're trying to figure out what size carry on bags will fit in the trunk before we leave. We'd like to have the option of having the top down and have our luggage in the trunk. Would someone be able to give us the trunk dimensions with the top divider in place, and/or tell us the specific brand and model of carry on bags that they've confirmed will fit in the trunk (one for each of us).

Trunk dimensions are 59" x 17" x 11" deep, slightly larger than the 17" in the center of the rectangle. I had (2) Samsonite pieces, both 19" X 16" X 12" along for a trip last summer for 7 days total time for (2) people. Also had room for additional small packages to go along.

The wife and I use a pair of these...they are roller bags from Wally world. Measure 23"x14". We have used these twice now on vacations that last up to six days in the vert.

Thanks for the quick reply and info. I just bought the car and now I'm just waiting for the weather to straighten up so we can go get it - we're in western NY, and the car is in Greenville, SC. Like I said, it's gonna be a long few weeks!
