Default A reasonable price for these mods?

Getting ready to get some mods done for spring. I purchased Kooks headers and catted pipes from a forum vendor. Also have a Vararam already installed. 2013 LS3, M6.

I've been quoted $1285 for the following:
Install my headers and catted pipes.
Install my Z Cool insulation.
Install a 160 degree thermostat ($20)
Install HP tuners nGauge with a couple of credits
( $425-$475 )
Dyno tune before and after installation, use tuner credits.

I just don't want to crawl around in my tiny garage trying to install headers on my own. If I was 30 years younger, I'd tackle the job tomorrow.

So I figure I'm paying about $800 for all the installation and a tune. The nGauge is just an option that I wanted. Prices include tax.

Sound reasonable?

Not too bad at all As long as you check out the shop as well as you can Investigate for sure, there have been some pretty horrible stories told on here.

I've been there twice talking and asking questions. They appear to be pretty knowledgeable especially with the LS3

Seems reasonable. If they follow through. Ask about coming back with any issues and how they deal and/or charge for that.

That's how I feel about it. I've always enjoyed doing my own maintenance and upgrades, but Father Time is undefeated.
