I have the widow control device where if I hit lock twice the windows roll up. That is very cool but the beeping is annoying. Double push when I walk up to car opens windows with no stupid beeps.

I realize this is for passive locking but might try just for kicks
Passive Door Locking: This
option allows you to select whether
the doors automatically lock during
normal vehicle exit. When the
ignition is turned off and all doors
become closed, the vehicle will
determine how many RKE
transmitters remain in the vehicle
interior. If at least one RKE
transmitter has been removed from
the interior of the vehicle, the doors
will lock after a short delay.
For example, if there are two RKE
transmitters in the vehicle and one
is removed, the other will be locked
in. The RKE transmitter locked in
the vehicle can still be used to start
the vehicle or unlock the doors,
if needed. A person approaching the
outside of the locked vehicle without
an authorized RKE transmitter,
however, will not be able to open
the door, even with a transmitter in
the vehicle.
You may temporarily disable the
passive door locking feature by
pressing the door unlock switch for
three seconds on an open door.
Passive door locking will then
remain disabled until a door lock
switch is pressed or until the power
mode transitions from the off
power mode.
Press the OPTION button until
PASSIVE DOOR LOCKING appears
on the display, then press the
RESET button to scroll through the
following modes:
. OFF (default)
. SILENT
. HORN
If you choose OFF, this option will
turn

That's why it beeps. You're pushing the lock button twice. Roll the windows up before you get out and hit lock button once or press the lock button on the door before you close it.

2022 C6 of the Year Finalist - Unmodified
Not sure what model year you have but you should be able to go into your menu on the DIC and turn the horn beep off. I have mine set to passive locking on and beep off, I never have to lock mine from the FOB. The lights will flash when it locks a few seconds after you close the door and walk away from the car, I have an '05, maybe different from yours???

Thanks. I was afraid of that. Not a huge deal but sometimes leave windows open in driveway or garage. Then want to close them from afar and use the valet. I just have to not do that when sneaking in late at night. Dogs go crazy. LOL

The window valet, is this a feature on all of our C6s? I have a 2011 with 3LT option but am not aware of being able to raise or lower windows with the fob. I tried pushing the lock button twice with the windows down and nothing happened. Is this a feature that has to be activated, and if so how do you do it?

It's an aftermarket device that plugs into the diagnostic port under the dash. They're about $140....
Google "c6 window valet"......
