We were told to tone it down on that road when I was at Spring Mountain. They were waiting for the folks who were all tuned up after being on the track all day.

147 in the c6 the day I was buying it,165 in my old c5 a few years ago on the way to the Woodward cruise.Got in a tussle with a cobra Mustang and a crotch rocket.

150 and it scared the you know what out of me! The Z had a lot more to give but no way - that was more than enough. She's a much better car than I am a driver. Was a on a lonely highway - no one around -wasn't the smartest thing I ever did.

160 on a straight desolate western road, only slowed down because I was on a road trip and you could see the gas gage moving. Did not feel different from driving at 70.

1969 427 400 THM, 152mph, as delivered new C6 base, 134 in 3rd gear. One of these days I'd like to open up the C6.
