I've been looking on the .com for a trunk release mechanism. If I can get one with the key all the better. This is the release needed to open the trunk with a dead battery. I've taken mine out to have a locksmith make a key, but the cable is damaged beyond repair. I found a couple on eBay, but they're for a coupe. None of the vendors I checked show this part.

Thanks! I put in my info ie 2006 corvette base ( vert ) and I get to the lock assembly, not available. My kinda luck with things like this. I may give the dealer a call and get the part number.
