Can you put 2006 steering wheel on a 2005 corvette

In a word yes. (but you'll need to modify part of the wiring harness, get a new clock spring, and airbag assembly w/cover to make it work besides just fit on mechanically )

I thought about changing mine to a newer model but ultimately decided to stick with the 05 style and buy aftermarket.

There were plenty of parts on ebay available for the job though.
