AMT Motor Mounts
Plenty of reviews on the Pfadt and Hinson, but I couldn't find many data points for AMT mounts after install.
For those who have them installed, what are your thoughts?
thanks

Master of the obvious that I am, it seems that w. 83 views of your thread and no responses, there are none who have used them. So far. Maybe in the next ten views.

We've sold more than 50 sets and are getting ready to make another 30 sets right now. Someone's buying them! I think they're great but I'm biased. You may have better luck posting in the Autocross and Road Race forum.

I installed Mark's (AMT Motorsports) Vulcan motor mounts. First let me say that as usual, they are a work of art and my only annoyance is that most of his perfectly machined parts that are on my car get hidden from view.....
The mounts are well made and install was a breeze. Very, very slight increase to NVH at idle (as expected) but the motor is now rock solid where it sits (and I have a rowdy cam). During recent routine testing of my car on public streets I did not experience any unusual harshness or vibration. Additionally, I have no more worries of the soft OEM stock mounts failing and puking all over the place. My car is road raced so this is now one less thing I have to worry about.
If it were me, I would go with the AMT mounts.

I too run AMT motor mounts on my C6Z. I had them installed last week. As Mordeth said, you can (and must) expect an increase in NVH. This is obvious. I really like them, and it has made a substantial improvement in the overall directness of the car under acceleration and during shifting. I have no plans to remove them.

Are these available for the C7? I seen them advertised for the C5-C6-C7 but there're shaped completely different then C7 mounts.

Sorry for the tardy reply I've been at Watkins Glen the last 4 days. We do not have these for the C7 yet. I haven't actually had a C7 factory mount in my hands, but from pictures they look completely different from the C5/C6 mounts. Don't know if there are failures reported of engine mounts on the C7 yet.

Im looking at these motor mounts for my 2013 GS as well as the Hinsons. Like the thru bolt design and anodized caps. Can someone fill in a newbie and explain what NVH is ? (Not very hard ?)
Thanks,
Brian

I'm just waiting on the motor minute to come back from anodizing and we'll be ready to ship on Monday. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
