Can replacing a wheel bearing affect alignment?
Specifically, the RR one.
Dang, this car is getting old.

Replacing the bearing shouldn't have any effect on the alignment. It's not part of the alignment adjustment parts.

What if/could it be the alignment was out for awhile and affected the RR wheel bearing? Definitely not the same thing, but I once wore out a set of rear tires very early (a few thousand miles) because the alignment person didn't tighten things up.

It should not. I replaced all 4 hub bearings at once with no problem.

depends on how the tech pulled the bearing. If they pulled off A-arms to get to it, then yes - definitely.

Sometimes it’s essier to pull the entire hub from the a-arms. I know a lot of old school techs would rather do this than separate the ball joints.

Thanks, all!
It was good before, so assuming it's good now (this from the queen of getting frequent alignments).
