Anyone familiar with these convertibles in OH?
New to the community and looking at a few manual C6 convertibles. I'm coming from the European Darkside of maintenance hell. Does anyone have any familiarity with these specific cars?
06 in Perry, OH - Link
06 in Reynoldsburg, OH - Link
Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I'm in Indy and would have to travel a bit, so trying to do my due diligence beforehand. Thanks.

I am in OH, but no where near either of these places. You like red. Both appear to be Z51 optioned and have Nav, HUD, etc. The Perry car looks nice, and I like the cashmere interior and tan top with the red exterior, compared to the black/black of the Reynoldsburg car. But, that's me. What do you want? The Perry car has lower mileage and the price is not awful. But, you really should see it in person, have it inspected and check on all of the expensive to repair issues like harmonic balancer, fuel odor, etc. Good luck, hope this helps.
Added: I did not notice the manual top that ruxvette points out. Certainly less stuff to break there. Though I have a power top and (fingers crossed) it works properly and I have had no issues, it would not be a deal breaker if everything else checks out to your satisfaction and price.

Interesting they are both priced the same. They both look to have Z51 option. Number 1 says great tires on stock rims and manual top. Number 2 looks like well used tires on aftermarket wheels and power top. They both look equally cared for.
For me it comes down to:
Z51 +
Manual top +/-
Power top +/-
Aftermarket wheels -
Needs tires -
I would go with car #1.
Just sayin...
I agree with Tony...the cashmere interior and tan top with the red exterior looks great.

Another vote for the cashmere interior if you plan to put the top down.
Black leather seats get uncomfortably hot if parked in the sun, even just to run into the deli for a sandwich, etc.

I somt like tan interiors personally, but others do. Really matters what you like.

Agreed on all points. Really shooting for victory red, though open to some of the other versions of red or even white if the price is right. Manual and convertible are musts. Less than 50k Miles. Interior color is negotiable, though good to hear black is brutal in the sun. If you guys see anything that matches, let me know. Ready to pull the trigger for the right one.
