Default Finally painted cf hood

After having my Anderson composites TS hood for over a year, it was finally time to add a little color. My body shop guy quoted me a "slow time of year" price that I couldn't pass up knowing his quality of work. It's not for everyone but I am very pleased.

When I saw the title of this thread I was very disappointed thinking that you painted the whole hood body color. Your car is one of my favorites especially because of the hood. Now it's definitely a unique look. I'm digging it!

Damn that looks good. How much lighter than stock is that hood?

Thank you everyone for the kind words. I toyed with the idea of painting for about 6 months now. I just feel more comfortable that the car "flows" better now. I don't think that there is a weight savings over the stocker.

Nice. How is the overall fitment of Anderson composites?

Overall, very nice for aftermarket. Hood needed zero body work. Stock hood fits tighter though.

Looks great. Have you, or did you consider carrying the black paint on the center of the hood down onto the nose vette?
