BORLA S-Type surprise install and THANK YOU to CHIP (CCA)!!!
Folks,
My father in law has an awesome C6 (2005) manual. Bought it for a great deal and has been enjoying it with the exception of the fact that the exhaust engineer for the C6 program must've been fired from Honda. We have talked about all the exhaust options, but really there was only one perfect one for him (Borla S-Type). I've always used Borla, and all have been AWESOME sounding.
My wife and I wanted to surprise him with the exhaust he most certainly wanted, and so I contacted the GUY I HAVE BEEN TRUSTING SINCE 2004 for buying parts from (Chip "CCA Corvette Parts"). Chip is the best, and was as always AMAZING to work with, gave me an awesome deal, and shipped this sucker out to me FAST!
We had them over on Saturday night, and shocked him with the awesome Borla labeled box, then put it together. Below are some pics of the install, and a quick clip of the drive off after. This car is a beast now and sounds better than my C7 and My C5 did!!! We also installed a LG tunnel plate while we were in there, and I will post a full install thread very soon.
I wanted to personally THANK CHIP for his help here. He is the best and will have a ton of my business from here on out (just like the last 14 years lol).

Oh and yes, I ordered a new set of manifold to h-pipe studs. WOW someone before us was a fan of torque! We had to bend them back with a pipe just to get the thing back together
