Yeah, I root for Tiger every chance I get............TO LOSE!

Although his presence on the course last weekend did appear to show he has learned a little humility. We'll see how long that lasts if we wins another major.

Not quite that bad, but the planes I was jumping from in the mid 70s were Cessna 182s and Douglas DC-3s, both of which were built before I was born. These planes are used hard as all they do all day is max climb to altitude and max decent to get the next load of jumpers. These days, most dropzones use turboprops to haul jumpers and they are much better suited to that kind of duty (and way faster to altitude and back down again).

Understood. But i'll tell ya something......those DC-3's were built tougher than a 50 cent steak. I think theres still many of them flying cause they were just so darn well built.....maybe i'm wrong....

What's the difference between golf and skydiving?

In golf you hear "Whack"..."SH*T"!

In skydiving you hear "SH*T"...

I love/hate golf, could never go skydiving. Hats off to you who do!

I’m pretty sure I’m one of the youngest C6 owners on this forum at the age of 21 and I’ve seen two other guys younger than me I believe. Corvettes and golf are a couple of my favorite things although I’m athletic pretty much all the way across the board. So I’m basically the opposite of all you guys! And I’m a huge Tiger fan. At 10-1 odds to win the masters he had the 3rd highest odds before the Valspar tournament, while being ranked 288th in the world. I’ll be in Augusta on Sunday this year more excited than ever to watch the GOAT, regardless of the outcome. I always knew a comeback was inevitable, just a matter of when. How many other guys are out there getting into contention after 4 back surgeries?

I tried to practice hitting the ball and failed miserably. I have bad depth perception and did nothing but dig divots and bend clubs.

History in the making was the Dolphins in the '72 Super Bowl, and yes, I was there when they completed their undefeated season. Went with my father and his boss. Nothing Tiger will ever do will compare to that.

The way he's playing, the rest of the field seems pretty frightened.

Ed, that is super cool that you were present for the Dolphins historic run.

However, if tiger wins another major championship after everything that has happened over the last 7-8 years...it will be the comeback story of the century (thus far anyway).

I looked.

Big cat may or may not win [a]nother tournament, never-mind a major.
He played well, no doubt & failed to close.

But consider Cat's one swing away from blowing-out/reinjuring back, leg(s) again, too.
Happens one more time would be strike 3 re career, y'know.

Told my bride if it happened ol' Dan Hicks had better buff up his resume'. Big Cat will surely be hired by NBC for his seat beside Johnny.

Me?
Loved Rory's win, now that's how one closes a tournament for the win.

You mean you didn't hear the ROAR of a Tiger, but merely the meow of a ***** Cat as he bogeyed his way thru the stretch. Not the Tiger of old, but the Tiger's too old. I do enjoy watching him though, even if it's to see that pitiful wince he makes every time he thinks the course mistreats him.
