Default Venice Fl Corvette Show Mar 11, 2018

I attended the Venice Corvette Show yesterday. I usually attend this event - it's a great show - but parking is hard so this year I decided to be a participant so I could have a primo parking spot. - To my surprise, I won my category.

There were a lot of great cars there - some picks of selected C6s - from all generations. Unsurprisingly the largest grouping was C7.

In the photos below is a fairly unique 60th ZR1. Can you spot what makes it unique?

The show nest year is scheduled for March 10. Worth the trip if you like car shows.

Looked like a cool show. Thanks!
I lived in both Osprey and Nokomis from the 1970's until 2002. Used to be a 2 lane road basically from south of Gulf Gate to Venice back in the early 70's. The growth now just blows me away when we visit occasionally. The traffic was the final straw for us when we decided to leave and retire to western NC. Sure miss FL during Dec Jan Feb but the other 9 months are perfectly fine here.

Congrats on the win and thanks for sharing, looks like you could have used up the camera's memory if you tried to get a shot of each one there.

I see a body color spoiler on the rear of the ZR1.

Can't find what is making the ZR1 so unique. My buddy has a 60th Zr1 with the chrome ZR1 wheels, but you could opt for the cup wheels. So not sure what you're seeing. By the way, your car looks great. And since I haven't seen mine since November.........THANKS for reminding me what it looks like!

Could you be referring to the blacked out side lights? Can't tell in the pics, but he might have the tail lights darker as well. But that's all I see.

Looks like a great show, John! Thanks for the pics and the ones of your car-beautiful! Nope, I've got no idea what makes the ZR unusual but they are good cars for sure.

It was a great show. Someone had a C2 resto-mod that was gorgeous, and I'm not normally a fan of resto-mods. A Chevy dealership also brought a restored '66 goat someone had actually traded on a C7. I should have asked if anyone else on here was going.

The 60th ZR1 actually came with the cup wheels . They were part of the 60th package. The ZR1 chrome wheels were an option.
