You won’t be disappointed. I traded my 15 Mustang GT for my 09 atomic orange 1 owner vette with 30k miles last November. Never looked back. Wish I had gotten a Vette sooner.

Heck yeah. I'm glad to see a GT guy that isn't disappointed. I regretted going ecoboost on my mustang. Was fun to mod and got that turbo spooling up fast and to 26 psi. But nothing beats a v8. And honestly I do think comparing a vette and a pony car is a waste of time because they're different experiences but IME a vette is a better experience

A muscle car feels like you're thrashing a heavy piece of metal around and that is definitely fun. A corvette though feels like you're hugging the road and about to lift off. After test driving one I knew I had to have it and wish I'd saved the time and money and thought of this last year!

Picking up the car tomorrow!

I started with a 15’ Ecoboost with the PP. nice car handled good but hated the sound of the exhaust. Traded it for the GT. The GT I put the Ford Racing track pack suspension, Corsa Extreme cat back and the Ford Racing Power Pack 2 which got it up to 450 or so HP. Just got tired of it and always wanted a Vette so I traded. I really wanted a C7 Vette but didn’t want to spend too much. Good luck picking up the Vette you’ll love it.

Default Great Deal.

If I was looking for a used C6 and after looking and looking I came across this one for 22K I’d be ecstatic. How many others can you find like it one owner, garage kept, mostly highway miles, 3LT option package, and one of my favorite colors? I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it. This is a car you can drive and enjoy for many more miles trouble free!

looks fine to me. what's been done re service records? price looks ok, too. only issue in the future will be "delicate" (color) of the rugs---beige/tan. I've had them before---just be careful. Tell us if you get the car.

Looks clean, very low miles considering and I'd bet seller has all documentation re recalls/maint etc.
Nice find & w/ 'Spring' officially starting today if you don't buy it, someone else surely will & soon.

Your story is too similar to mine. I came from a V6 mustang before my ecoboost and honestly didn't care about power numbers. I drove a convertible in Florida. That's it. haha. But it's bad when you reminisce on the days of how a 6 cylinder sounded. The 6 cylinder never bothered me which is why I didn't strongly consider a GT. Powerful enough and sounded decent. After 2 months of modding the engine to eliminate its weird power curve and suffering with the sound, I put a custom magnaflow exhaust on the ecoboost and it did make it sound a tiny bit throaty. Best way to describe it though, is it was a single low note with a tiny bit of rumble and a big turbo whistle from my mods. At best it sounded like a subaru after the exhaust. It didn't matter that I could get the thing to rip with 400 hp and 400 tq at the crank, it just felt like it was missing something important. Not to mention I also felt like such a ricer putting turbo mods on a 4 cylinder in a car that should be American muscle.

A V8 though sounds like a symphony. Pure music to my ears that excites even the non-enthusiast. Since I was 15 when the c6 corvette came out I have always drooled when one passed. I know I have to hold my tongue here, but a GT might have the best exhaust tone - especially the new 2018s with the active exhausts. We will see how I like this corsa exhaust. I think it will do just fine though. If I had gotten a GT originally I would probably not be getting a corvette right now, so God blessed the broken ecoboost road?

Looks great. Your first mod should be "mild to wild". Inexpensive and greatly increases the exhaust sound.

[QUOTE=t3xan;1596811660]Always been a Ford guy. Fave car all time is probably a 67 fastback mustang. Still would like one. But after two mustangs, the overly modded ecoboost mustang convertible is getting the boot for a much older but mint vette this week. Need less turbo and more V8. And something less heavy and dragging. What do you guys think of this car? Seems pretty mint and all the extras - dual tops, z51, 3LT, etc. Excited about it. Just gotta put a new radio head unit with apple CarPlay and it will be ace.

Welcome to the dark side. As far as the headunit goes, I have a Kenwood iLX-107. Its a WIRELESS Apple CarPlay headunit. It makes the car feel 10 years newer. I love mine and will have one in all of my future cars.

I got the Nex2300. May upgrade in the future but this is ok for now for less than $400!

The car is just as mint as promised. Only issue is the front bumper has about a 4 inch scratch where a rock came up and gouged it. But that could happen to anyone with a car so low down. 11 year old car with one scratch ain't bad.
