Always been a Ford guy. Fave car all time is probably a 67 fastback mustang. Still would like one. But after two mustangs, the overly modded ecoboost mustang convertible is getting the boot for a much older but mint vette this week. Need less turbo and more V8. And something less heavy and dragging. What do you guys think of this car? Seems pretty mint and all the extras - dual tops, z51, 3LT, etc. Excited about it. Just gotta put a new radio head unit with apple CarPlay and it will be ace.

Before the "it's too much" folks come on let me say it is a good looker and the price/miles look good.

Yeah, got him down to $22k. Coulda maybe haggled more, but don't like being that guy when it is obvious the car is well cared for. Probably also better to make friends with the owner than complain about a few hundred bucks. From my autotrader/cargurus search it is one of the cleanest, if not the cleanest c6 under $25k in the country. Hard to balance price and condition, but I rather pay a little more for a mint, single owner car. And this does have all the options too.

Anyone seeking a preowned Corvette can't do any better than finding one sold by original owner justifying a few extra bucks.
Looks clean, very low miles considering and I'd bet seller has all documentation re recalls/maint etc.
Nice find & w/ 'Spring' officially starting today if you don't buy it, someone else surely will & soon.

I may be partial, but it looks good to me. I got mine last January, at the time it had 98k miles, with the same options you listed ( pls the NPP exhaust & LS3 ). paid $19.5k. so your pricing seems to be inline.
and by the way, don't consider it coming to "dark side".
after coming from the "dark side", you can now justifiably confirm
what we already knew...
...
good luck!

I certainly wish it was a 2008 due to the LS3 and maybe the interior upgrades even more so, but 30 hp and a carbon fiber console didn't seem worth a couple grand to me. If you swap out the the manifold and put a new CAI, you'll be sitting solidly in LS3 territory anyway. I've also read that the Z51 package makes a bigger difference in drivability than the LS3. So give the choice between 07 ls2 z51 and 08 ls3 bone stock, the 07 is the choice.

With the adjusted price, and if full maintenance records are included, my vote would be to pull the trigger NOW! Looks nice!
I originally planned to get a 2008 or newer because of the LS3. Although I've had second thoughts, I have had zero regrets about "settling" for a 2007 w/LS2. Power difference wasn't noticeable to me, and the LS2 is a solid engine as well. 35K+ miles of smiles for me so far (over 60k miles total on odometer)- and adding to that daily.

At the end of the day, I am just not seeing the sub 20k vettes in any condition I'd want to buy a car in. But I like my cars spotless. Was looking at one down the street from me at a "Buy here pay here" place that was 22k. It had mag suspension and no dual roofs and while it only had 40k miles, after having 4 owners it had seen better days. It was the definition of "good" condition. Scratches here and there. Front panel missing a clip. Gas cap flopping open. But overall not terrible. I just wouldn't want it. That's what solidified that this was a pretty good deal for me.

Great price, and the dual roof option is definitely an extra. Considering you could sell a roof for some good coin, this price isn't far off from what I paid for mine.
I have essentially the same car minus the dual roof option. Worth every penny.

I agree on the finding vette's in this price range. at least ones that are presentable & drivable. I feel like I got a good deal on mine, as it was from the original owner. he regularly maintain it ( as least as far as carfax was concerned ). the miles are what kept the price down
( 2009 w/98k, 01/2017, $19.5k ), but with 3LT package, Z51 suspension, J55 brakes, dual tops. they are still out there, but in dwindling numbers.

I put Corsa Sports on my '07 and could not be happier. Zero drone and nice growl under heavy throttle. Nice rear gear with the Z51 almost makes 1st gear unnecessary for normal street driving. I was worried that the Z51 ride may be rough, but I was pleasantly surprised. Not a parade float, but it does not beat me up.
