We had a C7 and the c6 before we got the Maybach. We kept the c6. The c7 clearly had some more modern and improved aspects but I like the c6.

I felt even better about my decision then.

As to the design team, they were idle since they did the Aztek.

I think it was also the same design team that helped Toyota design the Lexus front end!

When I first saw that I figured it was an error that would adversely affect Lexus' sales but it hasn't. Beats me.

Excellent choice.... I sat in a C6 and then a C7 at the same dealership (C6 was similar to the one we bought). So much more comfortable....

Always get compliments from other Corvette owners on the Collector Edition convertible. Take good care of that top. The replacements are difficult to find and are quite expensive.

Great car!! It looks like you bought it from Prestige in York PA. I looked at one exactly
like that 1&1/2 yrs ago from there but waited too long . How was your experience
in dealing with them ?

Congrats. Like everyone here I'm also keeping my 13 GS coupe because I have not ever warmed up to the C7 styling.

That said, I think there are bigger differences between the look of the C6 and C7 coupes then the convertibles. But of course every C7 has that hideous rear end.

Good luck.

Pleasant surprise to see so many fellow C6 lovers. C6 is the last true Corvette. That C7 rear end belongs on a Camaro.

Beautiful car! Lots of good luck with it!

A guy in my old neighborhood had one just like that...and then gopped it up with red GS hash marks on the front fenders, stuck C7 "fish" emblems above the side vents, and added red pin striping along the full-length factory stripes.

I bought a 2015 C7 A8 Z51 and drove it for 18 mos. Nice car but I never got use to the huge rear end, and didn't use all the bells and whistles. Had a chance to get a 2200 original miles garage queen in a 2013 Anniversary edition 427 so the C7 was sold. Love it. I think the C6 Grand Sport is a terrific car and one of the better looking Corvettes ever made.
