Default Rpo codes

I have a Canadian corvette. It has all of the 3lt options from what I can tell but it doesn’t have the 3lt rpo. Is that a normal thing?

No, it's not. If you will look at the RPO sticker in the glove box, on the back of the glove box door, it should be listed there. Note that RPOs that begin with a number will be listed last.

Realize that some items that were only put in the earlier cars that had the 3LT option package were put in cars that had the 1LT or 2LT option package in the newer models.

ok thanks for the heads up. I thought it was strange myself. They must have just ordered all the 3lt stuff separately I guess.

I looked at the corvette registry under the 3lt package and it has all of the listed options. That’s why I found it strange.

What year Corvette? There was no 3LT package for the 2005, the RPO code would be 1SB; the codes were changed in 2006 from 1SB & 1SA to 2LT & 3LT.

Hmm ...as stated earlier, that's the code they initially used here for what is now the 3LT option.

Uh, no, 1SB is what is now 3LT

1SX = 1LT

1SA = 2LT

1SB = 3LT

May be something different for Canadian cars, but I've not ever seen it mentioned before.

Sounds like someone replaced your glove box door for one from a 2005. The one way to tell for sure is the match the VIN from the RPO sticker with the VIN on the car. If they match, you ended up getting a car built on a Monday when the guy who installs the glove box door on the assembly line had been out drinking late the night before.

The VIN on the glovebox shows it is a 2008. 1SB was the designation used (for 3LT) on the Canadian cars as one of the previous posters mentioned.

I just reread the thread and don't see that mentioned anywhere.

I don't believe Canadian cars were 1SB instead of 3LT.post a picture of your gauges .that will confirm whether it is a Canadian car
