Just sharing a sweet pic from the weekend when I got to enjoy a top down day here in Chicago. Of course it's back to being cold, but it was nice for a day.

Still cold here, 30-35 during the day, single digits at night, but mostly bright and sunny.
I have a foot+ of snow in front the barn where the Vette is, and the roads are still covered in salt, so she'll be sitting there a while yet. I've been hoping for some heavy rain instead of this nice sunny weather, but none in the forecast yet.

Expecting 6 inches of snow accumulation for today here in NJ. Driving the Vette feels like a distant memory. Even if it does warm up soon, the conditions of the roads after this brutal winter will keep my corvette off the roads for awhile. At least until they get a chance to fill all the pot holes and sweep some of the streets.

Just a beautiful photo! I had a 'topless' day recently too but it's snowing as I type this.

I too live in Chicago, but will not be out until after 4/1 when I put on full insurance again. My rule is I like to see 2 good rains after last snow to wash away the salt dust; gets everywhere. We are expecting snow again this weekend as well!

Still cold here also. However, next week Wed - Fri looks like it might be warm enough and dry enough. Forecast for a good rain next Tuesday, which would wash the salt down. One can hope!

Eh, I actually opened the barn door today, first time in months. Still a ton of snow in front of it. I was going to fire up the ol' '51 Fergie and clean the snow away, so it will dry out a little quicker in front of the barn.
But, she won't start; hasn't been run since the fall of '16. Either the starter solenoid is shot, or its ground is not good (more likely). I got tired of screwing with it.
I got a load of horse manure from my buddy yesterday, and dumped on my garden this morning. It was dicey get in and out of there even with the 4WD truck. Snow's about a foot deep there and had a crust on it hard enough to walk on this morning, cuz it dropped to 15 or so overnight. But I did get out, after a couple of tries.
Oh well, as the rabbi said as he sharpened his scalpel, "It won't be long now!"
