Hello everyone I'm new to this forum I don't think this is too much of a big deal I've been through a few a few forums and I was wondering I have a 2005 z51 and it is brand new to me only had it out twice haven't driven it far at all it seems to have almost like a supercharger sound when I accelerate a little any ideas or is it normal thank you

Okay where should the oil level be when it's hot and I'm assuming the transmission oil should be relatively warm to get an accurate reading and that should be on the full line am I right

Car needs to be level and on a lift. Fluid should be all the way up to the fill hole. Reach in with your finger to check.
Not sure what your whine sounds like, but the tranny can sound like a PD blower, if not properly lubricated.

Melting Slicks
I have the same problem. It's the power steering pump on mine. I've had the fluid flushed & replaced, which helped for about 6 months. But it has come back.
