I could NOT find a replacement for my raggedy shift **** on my '05 automatic. I found a Universal fit, center button plunger, with adapters online, but Chevy dealer wouldn't put it on...help.
What do you need help with? Getting the old one off or putting the new one on? There is a slit in the leather in the front with a C-clip in it that needs to be pried out to get the old one off. Unless the new one has this same slot in it I don't know how it will go on.
Here is the old one with the leather taken off to show where the slot is.'
