Does your wife (spouse) Like riding in your Corvette?

Wow.
Yeah, it seems most women like style / flashy / classy vehicles like BMW or Mercedes. My wife rides with me, but I have to REALLY tame it down.
I asked my wife long ago, "If women want attention in their cars by men, why don't they drive a 1972 Chevelle with no mufflers? ALL the guys would turn their heads.
They're just wired differently...... EXCEPT Lizzys

My wife's description of my 09 Vette w/ cam and Corsa exhaust is a car that rides rough, too noisy, and hard to get in and out of. She doesn't like it which is OK with me.

We've only had ours for just over a month. The wife has enjoyed riding in the Vett when we have gone on dates around town, so she is getting used to it. She has complained in the past that Vettes are too low and she doesnt like looking up at every other vehicle... But, she wants to do some day/two day trips in the next couple of months in preparation for a trip next year to the Carolinas. So, we are making progress.... lol

My wife likes riding in our 77 as long as the t-tops are off. Going down NC 12 from Southern Shores to Nags Head is her favorite. As for road trips the 2016 Compass is far more comfortable for both of us.

Have had my Vette for 13 years and can count on the fingers of one hand how many times she has been in the car. She thinks cars were invented solely for the purpose of getting back and forth to work.

No she does not way to much road noise 2012 Grand Sport coupe. We can't hear to each other because of the tire drone and lack of sound suppression. I had no idea that the interior was so loud before I bought it. Couple years ago had a 370Z that I sold because of the incredible interior drone. Think this coupe is worse.

My wife has never liked riding in any of my coupes with the top off because of all the wind turbulence. She doesn't like riding in my '70 because it smells like gas. When I got my 427 vert a couple months back we couldn't believe how much less turbulence there is in the vert. Now its all we take for date night or whenever we get to go somewhere without the kids!

Well, since the Vette is her car, I guess I'm the spouse riding in the passenger seat.
Honestly, we both enjoy driving it and she does let me drive it quite a bit. But this car is actually her good weather DD.
Since it's her car, that means all modifications require her approval. So.. no loud exhaust. Which is fine with me... although I think NPP exhaust is in our future.

I have resigned to the fact that the Vette is my deal. Wifey doesn't like it but I love it.
She loves the S2000, which I like too, but for it's handling and feel. The Vette feels numb next to it, but the torque of the corvette is what makes it fun.
When I go for a drive by myself, Corvette.
With Wifey, S2000.

My wife prefers riding in the Z. We'd take the S together time to time, and only drove it once (visibility), but pretty rough riding and loud even in stock condition. The Z06 is much quieter and smoother riding and I think she'll be more interested in taking it on drives. This was reinforced recently when we took it on errands last weekend and she asked why it was so loud - as loud as the S! Well, in the last month it appears the exhaust solenoid is starting to fail leaving a big drone (not a good sound, just loud when cruising) .
I was able to drive both back to back a couple of months and you're spot on in the comparison. My thinking is that the Corvette has a longer wheel base and wider track, which makes it more stable i.e. numb. Could be dialed out, but the Corvette needs to meet a broader audience, the S was a narrow focus along the lines of race car for the street.

My boyfriend doesn't like it, but that's probably cause I drive it like I own it which I do!!!!! Just bought it yesterday, I'm thinking the license plate needs to read "tktgtr".
