Don't know where guys get the idea their car is a "she" or a "her". That's like calling obama a president.

Mine is called "The Blue Car."
I am in a very small town and am a teacher. I try to not publicize the fact that I own a Corvette. Many people in this area would think any teacher with a Corvette is grossly overpaid if they knew. If I drove a $50k pickup, no one would think twice, but my 2005 Corvette is considered too extravagant.

'Corvette', 'Vette' or 'it'. Have never named any of my vehicles, the manufacturer has already given it a model name; nor do I refer to them using she, he, her or him.

"Cinnamon Girl" - Crystal Red Metallic so I doubt she's the only one!
On edit: Actually my wife named her. She said "it's one redhead I don't mind you spending time with!".

We have four vehicles. No names just references.
The C6 is referred to as "the blue".
The C7 is referred to as "the Z".
The Hellcat is referred to as "the Charger".
The Avalanche is referred to as "the truck".
