Default Painted my headlights

One of my weekend projects was completed today - painting the headlight buckets from Inferno Orange to gloss black. Thanks to Stang Killa SS and others who took the leap on this before & left nice write ups on the process.

I used the oven bake method and heated the lights at 225 for 12 minutes & was able to remove the lenses on the first shot. My lenses are in pretty good shape so I couldn’t justify spending the money on new lenses at the moment. It wasn’t that difficult & I was in no rush so it took me a total of 2 days & $22 ( 3.50 for primer & 18.50 for new butyl glue). I’m happy with the results

Thanks - I don’t think I’ve ever left a car stock longer than a week & I’ve owned 23 different cars over the years.

Looks good Jeff. Let me know when you get your interior LED's before you install them.
