Have you put Amoral or some treatment on your dash? Dash glare hasn't been a problem for me.

When I first got my C6, someone did use Armorall on the dash. The reflection was very annoying, especially from the heads up projector box. I was able to remove it with warm water and a small amount of dish detergent mixed in. It helped, but like you said, the black plastic still is very glossy. I just got used to it, besides you don't see it all the time, it's the way the light hits it.

I had the same problem and found the only cure was a dashmat. I tried the flat black felt, but it fit poorly. I ended up with the synthetic black carpet. It still has some reflection due to it being synthetic, but not near as bad as the OEM black plastic dash.

Could be because I can't see the Vette HUD or the wife's BMW HUD when I try to wear them.

Another AZ guy here. I have similar glare. It isn't horrible, but at the right time of day, its really annoying. I was hoping there were answers in here, but I guess dash cover is the only way.
There's not like a matte satin finish product is there? Something like Armoral but that finishes in a matte, non-gloss?

When I went on my road trip, (San Diego to North Carolina) I though I would die because of the glare heading east in the morning. It was really bad. Its all about the sun angle because after a couple of hours....and maybe me getting use to it I never had a problem again. Just the first day was an issue. I started leaving a little later in the morning the following days. I did pick up some Aerospace 303 in New Mexico. Has UV protection and left a matte finish which also helped.

I'm in S. Fla. My GS is a 4LT with the leather dash. I put a carpeted cover on mine more to protect the dash than for the glare but it certainly serves both purposes. I did not install the velcro. I just lay it there. I'm very happy with it.
